What is the colour made of?
The magical colour powder we use is custom manufactured, especially for these type of events. It is made from food grade quality corn-starch combined with Food, Drug & Cosmetic Colours. It is non-toxic, 100% safe, and also 100% biodegradable. As with any substance, you will want to keep it out of your eyes and lungs. If you are overly sensitive, you may want to wear glasses or goggles for your eyes and use a bandana or dust mask for your mouth.
Can I take pictures?
Of course! We will also have our own professional photography team covering all of the Fuzion madness! If you do bring your camera, phone, we recommend keeping it in a plastic bag to keep the dust out!
Are children allowed?
Yes, children love to get coloured just as much as the rest of us. All children must be registered in order to participate.
Can my family watch?
Most definitely but no smoking is allowed in the area the paint fight takes place so please be aware of this.
Can I wear costumes?
Yes! We love costumes!
What time does the fight begin?
Registration opens at 12:00 am at which time you will need to show your receipt in order to confirm you are who you say you are and you will be issued with your wristband or bands. The paint fight begins at 4.00pm in the main arena.
Who does it benefit?
The Holi Style Paint fight and indeed the entire Fuzion event is a not-for-profit event. All profits from the event will be shared equally between East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH), Time Norfolk Pregnancy Loss Charity and Big C (Norfolk’s Cancer Charity). All three charities will have stands and merchandise at the event.
Can I refund my registration?
No. Unfortunately it’s impossible for us to offer refunds. You can transfer your registration to someone else up to 1 week prior to the event, if you wish to do this you will need to get in touch.
Can my dog take part?
Sorry no! Pets are not eligible to participate in the Holi Style Paint Fight, but well behaved dogs on leads are welcome at Fuzion.
What if it goes in my eyes or I accidentally swallow some?
Don’t worry – it will do no harm. If it goes in your eyes a simple rinse with water will take care of it. If you accidentally swallow some it will taste like coloured dirt – not nice but not harmful as it is natural corn-starch with food grade colours.
The best way to avoid this is to wear sunglasses and a bandana/ dust mask over your mouth.
Are there age limits?
No way! Everyone is welcome to come and have tons of colourful fun! We do recommend that your kids are properly protected with sunglasses, and for toddlers and infants, maybe even something to cover their mouth. The powdered paint is non-toxic and made mainly with corn starch, but it could irritate the smaller ones.
What is included with my Holi Colour ticket?
Each ticket provides entry into the Holi Style Paint fight and your paint which will be issued immediately before the paint fight within the arena. A participant t-shirt is not included in the special offer pricing but may be purchased during the registration process subject to availability.
Why isn't a t-shirt included with my registration?
In our ongoing effort to keep registration costs as low as possible for all we do not include a participant t-shirt in the base pricing. However, you may purchase a t-shirt and other merchandise on the day.
What should I wear?
Make sure you come in clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting a bit dirty – not your best clothes and trainers.
Wear a White T-shirt and as much white as possible so that the colour looks great. Come in fancy dress – anything white – Wedding Dress, Tutu, and Ghost Sheets etc.
Will the colour stain my clothes & shoes?
The colour does mostly wash out after the event, but some of it can stain if you sweat. As with anything, the sooner you wash it the better. We suggest wearing items that you wouldn't mind getting the colour on.
How do I set the colour in my top?
In order to set the powder, you will need to spray it with white vinegar and allow it to dry thoroughly then iron the top on a dry iron setting. For the first wash after setting do not use any detergent.
Will the colour get in my car?
Bring a towel or some plastic bags along, and you’ll be just fine. However, if you do get some in your vehicle, it can be dusted away or vacuumed easily.
What about the powder on the ground and the environment?
There are clean up squads at each colour station. Most of the powder will be taken away. As it is biodegradable the rest will be rinsed away with water.
